The 5-5-5 Rule

Massage the treated area 5 minutes, 5 times per day, for 5 days following treatment.
This helps evenly distribute the product and prevents small nodules from forming.

Your provider will demonstrate proper massage technique before you leave.

Avoid Strenuous Exercise

Avoid heavy exercise and intense physical activity for 24 hours.

Avoid Heat Exposure

Avoid excessive heat for 24 hours, including:

• Saunas
• Steam rooms
• Hot tubs
• Hot yoga

Avoid Alcohol

Avoid alcohol for 24 hours after treatment to reduce bruising.

Avoid Facial Treatments

Avoid the following for 1–2 weeks unless approved by your provider:

• Facials
• Chemical peels
• Microneedling
